1st the card: I am so going to miss that springtime vintage dsp!
We had a lot of fun this weekend on our Remarkably Hot Retreat. Lots of stamping and scrapbooking!
We took part in the table competition! to decorate a table as one of our favorite cities, Rome. The Vatican City is a big part of Rome….so meet us as the Pope, Mother Theresa and the stampin sisters.
YES!!! we all dressed up and were completely silly! we even sang a Stamping song to the Sound of Music. Can you believe I have never seen that movie? so I was a bit out of it, but if you need a giggle, you can watch it here (I never dress up, or sing, you bet this was waaaayyyyy out of my comfort Zone)
Here are a few more shots from the weekend Retreat!
Maria was a fabulous Pope- and she sure can sing!
here is our table. we took 3rd place as Rome
the girls from the Paris table were great! and their Eiffel tower won them the competion!
the wizard of Oz table took second! they were great!
So goofy!
What a hoot!!! Looks like a lot of fun and I sure wish Janet lived closer. My personal opinion is that the nuns should have won!!
So funny! Love it! A group of women (myself included) dress up as nuns and do a skit of Sister Act songs. We have performed many, many times and it is a lot of fun. Some people don't know quite how to take it, but most really enjoy it.
Hysterical!! You guys must have had a blast…I can see why you would NEVER miss this retreat! Thanks so much for sharing it with us. Love your card, too.
