a little more swimming

As many of you know I have 3 kids-all competitive swimmers.  Here is a scrap page I created to highlight my son’s Freshman year- High School swim season.

He had a great season!  He also qualified for Junior Olympics for the fist time!  hard to believe that meet was not even in our vocabulary 2.5 years ago.  He dropped 20 seconds at JO’s in his 1000 Free.  here is a shot of that race!

and his face afterwards when I told him his time!

And the request to commemorate Junior Olympics?  “Mom, can you make one of those really cool scrap pages on your computer so we can put it in a frame?”  ummm, why Yes of course.

Wow – Jr Olympics!! That is just fantastic! I had a swimmer too so I know what dropping 20 whole seconds means. Unbelievable. How cool that he loves your scrapbook pages too. So glad you shared – love to read about your kids Jill.

JO's!!! That's awesome!! I also have swimmers so I know how much 20 seconds really is. Can't believe he swims the 1000. My kids swim the 200 and 500 and I think those are long. So awesome that he wanted a "framed" scrapbook page. Apparently he knows what a talented scrapper his mom is. :)Thanks for sharing!!
