Christmas Treat Boxes and a Blog Hop

Hello stamping friends and welcome to a new 2018 Spellbinders-FSJ Creative Team blog hop!  Are you ready for CUTE!  These are so stinkin’ cute! Adorable Christmas treat boxes made from the Treat box die! Lets start with the Santa Box.

Santa Christmas Treat Boxes, Stamp with Jill. Spellbinders FSJ

This box holds treats of all kinds, small gifts and GIFT CARDS!  I always love a box that can hold a gift card.  Santa has lots of elves so we needed a coordinating Elf Treat box.

Decided to flip it and get creative with an upside down Elf Christmas Treat box. Added some feet with the Christmas Magic Die set.  It coordinates with the Christmas Magic stamp set!

The box base is the AWESOME Treat Box die.  I used the Border Basics dies for the Collars.  The rest is just cut card stock.  Check out the video tutorial.

Here are the Specs and the full supply list is at the end of this post.

Candy Apple Red or Limeade Splash (Green) Cardstock cut to 9 x 8 for die cutting with the Treat box die

Scrap White and Candy Apple red for the collars to die cut with the Border Basics dies

Black Licorice card stock:  Belt band: .75 x 8.5  Belt center .75 x .75. Button .25 circle punch out.

Pocket Gift Card Holder. Want Fries with That?

How cute is this punch art (die cutting really) hamburger and fries Scalloped Pocket Gift Card holder?  My son gave these to his summer swim coaches as an end of the year gift. I love that he gave them burgers and fries! and that he still lets me make things to give as gifts!  Below is video tutorial to show you how easy it is to make the both the punch art and the gift card holder.

I am not gonna lie, these were really fun to make!  And they cover the need for “masculine” projects too!  The base of the gift card holder is the scalloped pocket die cut in cocoa powder card stock.  This die is becoming one of my favorites!!  Makes creating gift card holders a BREEZE!

The Burger and the Fries are created with Oval dies, scallop punch and some scraps of card stock.  I used the coffee first dies for the cup.  The “soda” is dark roast card stock, cut with the die then hand trimmed at the top.  I need to find some good vellum adhesive.  the is the only thing I don’t like about this is that you can see the glue.  What vellum adhesive do you use?  drop me a comment below!

I attached the gift card to the whip cream using a glue dot!

here is the group shot- He gave 4 Coaches gifts

Here is the Video Tutorial:

These fit nicely into an A2 envelope.  This handmade gift card holder is perfect for any food lover, Birthday or Father’s Day.  and it holds treats too not just gift cards.

Need to see a few more Scalloped Pocket Die Projects?  check them out this coffee one here and a chocolate holder here.  FUN!!
