Hello stamping friends and welcome to a new 2018 Fun Stampers Journey Creative Team blog hop! We are celebrating awesome Fall projects in this hop. Today, I am featuring a Zen Leaves Fall Note card set with a matching card carrier!
What a fun gift set this is! Each of the Zen Leaves are heat embossed with pigment ink and white embossing powder on colored card stock. I used Haystack, Pumpkin Bread, Cocoa Powder and Oatmeal Cookie. Even the colors are fall!
The panel behind the leaves is made of whip cream card stock and the Barn Wall embossing folder. It adds just the right amount of texture.
On each of the four cards, the sentiment is stamped with cocoa powder ink and the Everyday Script bundle. It is backed by a partially die cut rectangle from the Journey Rectangle Long die set.
Each envelope of the Fall Note card set is stamped in ink matching the cardstock on the leaves on the card.
A Fall Note card set is a beautiful gift! It is definitely not complete unless you stamp and decorate the inside of your cards!
The tote is made from the awesome FSJ Card Carrier die. It cuts and scores all the pieces for the box/bag. I added a few extra leaves on the front panel to give it something extra!
Don’t you think this Fall Note card set would make a great fall party or Thanksgiving hostess gift? Hope you enjoyed the project! Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. They have some pretty amazing projects to share! Next up is my sweet friend Jenny Watson. She has some great projects in store for you.

How cute is this punch art (die cutting really) hamburger and fries Scalloped Pocket Gift Card holder? My son gave these to his summer swim coaches as an end of the year gift. I love that he gave them burgers and fries! and that he still lets me make things to give as gifts! Below is video tutorial to show you how easy it is to make the both the punch art and the gift card holder.
I am not gonna lie, these were really fun to make! And they cover the need for “masculine” projects too! The base of the gift card holder is the scalloped pocket die cut in cocoa powder card stock. This die is becoming one of my favorites!! Makes creating gift card holders a BREEZE!
The Burger and the Fries are created with Oval dies, scallop punch and some scraps of card stock. I used the coffee first dies for the cup. The “soda” is dark roast card stock, cut with the die then hand trimmed at the top. I need to find some good vellum adhesive. the is the only thing I don’t like about this is that you can see the glue. What vellum adhesive do you use? drop me a comment below!
I attached the gift card to the whip cream using a glue dot!
here is the group shot- He gave 4 Coaches gifts

These fit nicely into an A2 envelope. This handmade gift card holder is perfect for any food lover, Birthday or Father’s Day. and it holds treats too not just gift cards.
