Distress Oxide Ink Blending

A few weeks back I was working on some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks. I only have a few colors so I was really just playing around. Here is what my messy desk looked like. It is a screen shot from my instagram story when I was playing.

I took all my ink blended backgrounds and white heat embossed the Outline Leaves from Simon Says stamps on all of them. Thant background stamp is SO BEAUTIFUL!!

I decided to let the Outline Leaves shine and go simple. My First card turned out like this.

This is Distress Oxide in (bottom to top) Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean, and Twisted Citron. A simple sentiment (Tiny Words) and a simple black layer pulled tis together. The Little white flowers are from Spellbinders Feb small die of the month (link below). The flower centers are Nuvo drops from the April Simon Says Stamp card kit. Link below- you can purchase it separate.

My second card turned out like this:

From Left to right, Seedless Preserves, Worn lipstick, and Wild Honey Distress Oxides for this one. I did my ink blending with blending brushes (The link is below.). Distress Oxides blend really easily! The Branch die cut is called Summer Branch From Spellbinders+FSJ. The white heat embossed sentiment is also from Birthday messages at Simon Says stamp. Surprisingly, I never ever get tired of heat embossing!!!
