Gnome for the Holidays: A Fun Stampers Journey Creative Team Blog Hop

Hello stamping friends and welcome to the first 2018 Fun Stampers Journey Creative Team blog hop!  Today, I am featuring 3 cards using my favorite stamp set and coordinating dies from the Holiday Trends mini catalog, Gnome for the Holidays!

I adore these little Gnomes and they are so east to create with!  All 3 of my cards have the same size card base of 4.25 x 11, scored at 5.5 and all of the Gnomes are colored with the Journey Color Burst pencils.  Let’s start with the Peekaboo Gnome:

I used Candy Apple card stock as the card base.  The Cozy Winter Prints paper is 4 x 5.25 and the Oatmeal Cookie layer is 3.75 x 5 and the circle window is cut with the Journey Circle Around Dies.    The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder on a piece of Candy Apple cardstock cut to .5 x 3-7/8.  And do you see the hat? That little gold embellishment is called Fashion Gold and is one of my favorites!

Here is the Joyful Gnome card. The whip cream card base is layered with Tin Pail card stock cut to 4 x 5.25.  I used the Cozy Winter prints paper again for the 2.5  x 5 panel and half circle die cut.   I hand trimmed the tag from whip cream card stock after I used the Journey Rectangles piercing template.

The sentiment is stamped in Candy Apple ink and the sparkly gem is from the “All The Things” bloom benefit!

And here is the Triple Gnome Card!  I love that these Gnomes are friends!

The card base is Candy Apple.  The Black Licorice layer is cut to 4 x 5.25 and the Buffalo plaid from the Cozy Winter Prints is cut to 3-7/8 x 5-1/8.  The Oatmeal cookie is cut from the Circle Around dies and the branches are cut from the Branch and Cone die set in Fresh Forrest card stock.  The sentiment is stamped in black licorice ink on a strip of Candy Apple that is .5 x 4.

Hope you enjoyed the Gnome cards! Keep hopping along and check out my other fellow teammates’ pages. They have some pretty amazing projects to share! Next up is my sweet friend Jenny Watson.  She has some great projects in store for you.
