It’s Spellbinders Club Time! and there is a NEW Club this year– the 3-D Embossing Club. OH MY its LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
Today I am sharing 3 cards using several clubs. Aa you know coordination is the name of the game and each club goes well with the other. It’s full on mix and match this month. for 2023 I am participating in 5 Spellbinders clubs: The Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, the regular Embossing folder Club, the Small Die of the Month, the Large Die and the NEW 3-D Embossing Club.
First Up is the 3-D Embossing Club. I made these by inking the smooth side of the embossing folder with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink and using a an 8.5 x 5.5 sheet of white cardstock. See below for my reel.
To get the creamy color, I inked the 3-D Embossing Club twice. There is an arch in the center of this embossing folder that you could easily stamp a sentiment in. Today’s cards show that you can use it without the arch as well. And the beautiful sticked edge is made with the Limited Edition Layered Stitched Diamonds Etched Die Set and you can still order it!
Friendly Reminder: This is a 3D folder so make sure you have the Universal Plate System. It really does make a difference in how the 3D folders emboss. The sentiment is from the Clear stamp and die club and is white heat embossed on black cardstock.
Here is my Instagram Reel for these:
Sentiment Tip: When die cutting these strips I had to add a shim or 2 to get the die to cut all the way through. These type of sentiment dies are way more striking when they are cut the right way. And you can back them with another color and it will show.
I also have an Instagram Reel for this card. Are you following me on Instagram? You can find me HERE.
