Oh M Gee! Reverse foiling is seriously fun! Today I’m sharing how to use your leftover foil for reverse hot foiling. The results are amazing!
For all of my projects I used the Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Solid Circle Glimmer Hot Foil Plate which is about 3 inches in diameter. This Solid Hot Foil Plate is a must-have tool if you are a foil fanatic. Check out my 1st card:
First you foil like you would normally. I used the Diagonal Glimmer Stripes Glimmer Hot Foil Plate background. (see that here). BUT SAVE YOUR USED FOIL!!! You will use the used foil on the solid plate. I then cut it out with a circle die from my collection. Find that sentiment in the Sugar Coated Sentiments set.

Here is another circle version. Again I use the Diagonal Glimmer Stripes Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and saved the original foiled piece for another card. After foiling the used foil, I die cut a pierced border around the outside of the foil with a circle set from my stash.
I light colored black foiled Magnolia Glimmer Hot Foil Plate from Yana’s Collection. The sentiment is also hot foiled in black with one of my new favorite sentiment plates & dies Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments. Get yours now! It will be used a lot around here!

For this I cut the foil circle in half to make the flower pot and filled it with flowers from the Large Die of the Month. LOVE!! Be sure to want my Instagram reel for how easy it really is.
