It’s a Party

My daughter is having a birthday this month and we worked together on this invitation for her Ballerina party. We started with the ribbon, it had to have pink! no exceptions!! Then we worked together on layout and paper selection. She definitely wanted a brown mouse with a pink tutu. I just think these are sooooo CUTE!!!!!

The cardstock is CTMH watermelon and sweat leaf and regular white, the pink ink is CTMH bubblegum. The patterned paper is also CTMH in pink and white polka dots to match the cardstock. It was then stamped with Stampin Up’s itty bitty backrounds and certainly celery ink. The stamp set is CTMH Twinkle Toes (retired). I ran the inside of the card through the computer printer, then stamped “It’s a Party” and the leaping ballerina mouse on the inside.

The little cupcake on the front is Stampin Up’s short and sweet and the icing is liquid applique heated with the embossing gun.

The mouse is colored with Stampin Up creamy caramel and the tutu is CTMH pink carnation markers. On the outside of the card the tutu is traced with the sakura stardust glitter pen. Then I used the Stampin Up ticket corner punch for the notched edges and the faux white brads are the Stampin Up white gel pen. The pink and green ribbon is from Costco. I ran out of the polka dot for the last invite, so I used the stripe for one, also from Costco. Envelopes are stamped to match as well. I made 16 total.
