Another project from Convention! Fabric Envelopes! I made these with Summer Smooches Fabric!
Super easy and no sew!!!
Inside is a collection of 4 Summer Smooches cards and envelopes.
Start with your fabric cut to 11.75 x 11.75, a piece of 12 x 12 coordinating card stock (not pictured) and a sheet of the Multi purpose adhesive sheets. (page 160 of the big book)
Adhere your Multipurpose adhesive sheet to the card stock first! then peel off the backing and attach your fabric. be warned those those sheets are sticky!!!!
after attaching your fabric, trim the whole thing to 11 x 11 square. I went bigger on the fabric to allow wiggle room as it is super hard to get it on perfectly straight.
Nice clean cuts!!! turnover and using your diagonal plate, score at 4.25 and 6.25.
trim off the little triangles. fold to form your envelope. I used sticky strip to close it up!
The belly band is two pieces of 2 x 12 Summer Smooches DSP fit together.
For the Flower Embellishment:
you will need a 3 x 27 (long length of the fabric fat quarter). Fold in half, tie a knot and twist & smash into the jumbo sticky round. The picture is on the back of the package of the sticky rounds!
Then I just stuck it to the Flower folds die cuts and hot glued on the button! EASY! Love these!!!!
Be back tomorrow, its the 1st day of school and I’m going to make some cookies! Hope you liked the fabric projects!
like the project…I am going to keep it in mind and will use it for Gift Card envelopes.
