My Favorite Die Blog Hop & Giveaway

The FSJ Creative Team is blog hopping today sharing out favorite Spellbinders-FSJ die. We hope you like our favorites and maybe you will find a new favorite too! Hop along with us as we share a blog hop full of inspiration & a giveaway too!

I had a hard time picking just one of my favorite dies … so I decide to pick 2!

Shapeabilities A2 Curved Borders One

Oh how I love these and I use them all the time. These border dies are incredibly easy to use and have an awesome end result. Bonus: These curved dies are a great way to showcase the Create and Blooms designer prints paper.

Stamp with Jill, Shapeabilities Curved Border Die

For this card I used 2 of the border dies to create a curved banner that lets almost all of the printed paper show. I used my Mini Misti positioning tool to curve a regular stamp just slightly to fit the curve.

This bright, beautiful Create and Bloom Prints paper is balanced against a small curve border cut out in whip cream. To keep the paper the main focus, I just added a sentiment and a simple embellishment.

As shown below, you can also layer with these dies. I added a duplicate curved layer in black to anchor the black in the paper as well as the sentiment. This Follow Your Heart paper has a black and white pattern. Of course I needed to color it with some spring color markers to liven it up.

You know its a favorite die when I use it on multiple projects. Here are a 6 more cards that use the Shapeabilities A2 Curved Borders One for inspiration:

Fancy Edged Rectangles

Next up is the Fancy Edged Rectangles. Oh these are so fun but so far I love the medium scallop rectangle the most! For this card, I paired the Butterfly from the Large Die of the month (Feb) and a background made with Pan Pastels. A touch of Sparkle silk and the Tiny Greetings” Hello sentiment finish the card.

Seeing that this hop is all about favorite dies, I created another card to show how fun it is to layer the rectangles and use printed paper.

The Thanks is also a die cut, from the Designer Frames die set. All supplies are listed at the very end of the post.
