I love these guys! Can you guess how long I have had this Polar Bear Pals Stamp and matching Die set? YEARS! It was time to ink them up as the temps are dropping this week it was time for a cold critter invasion. I have 5 adorably FUN cards to share today.
First up are the skating bears. I love the Spellbinders Flurry of Snowflakes 3D embossing folder and this is another way to use it.
The Ice and the icebergs are highly colored with a light blue copic. I also lightly colored the snowflakes with the same marker. Sadly the little iceberg dies are not available.
I had a few extra backgrounds leftover from these cards. I love when I can repurpose them into another project. Do you save everything too?
This is stitching for the “ice” is from Spellbinders Winter Borders Etched Dies. The pink and blue in the background is pulled into the design with the pink and blue in the scarf.
Next is a masculine Birthday card. I really struggled with the background on this one. There are so many options like plaid papers and snow papers. I settled on the stripe embossing folder (retired) but now I wish I added a little more color with distress oxides instead.
How about a Valentine or 2?
As Valentines Day is right around the corner it was. time to make some love themed cards.
These Winter Trees Die-namics are an easy peasy way to add birch trees to your background. I bought them a few months ago but can’t remember what project they were for. (UGH). I went with white on white however, gray, tan, or brown color can work with these tree dies! Almost always I make my snow mounds with the Color Block Scenic Scape Etched Dies.
I have 2 layers of white letters and 2 layers of the black “you” to add more dimension to the card. If you need another idea for using these “LOVE” letters I made THIS CARD on Instagram and a cute card on THIS POST.
You can get the Polar Bear Pals direct on the MFT website or on Simon Says Stamp. I have linked to both below.
