This collection is SO MUCH FUN. Why? Because Umbrellas and Rainbows make for some fun spring cards! I made 5 cards for todays blog post using 3 items from the new collection. The Rain or Shine Etched Dies, Umbrella Bloom Etched Dies and the new Raindrops 3D Embossing Folder. The rest of the items I had in my stash.
Let’s get right to the cards. This uses the Rain or Shine Etched Dies for the Clouds and theUmbrella Bloom Etched Dies for the bigger umbrella. The sentiment is from Sentiments for You Clear Stamp Set.
Rainbows!
Next is Rain or Shine Etched Dies with the adorable sentiment from the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month.
This beauty is my favorite of all 5 cards. This uses the Umbrella Bloom Etched Dies and some really old printed paper from Gina K that I dug out of my stash. The printed paper has a little bit of a sheen to it. This set is a great way to use up some pretty paper scraps and makes the umbrella more than just for rainy cards.
I do love a good rainy card though! This is the Rain or Shine Etched Dies and the new Raindrops 3D Embossing Folder. I turned my paper slightly in the folder to create the rain on a diagonal. After Embossing, I swiped it with a light blue ink pad.
Spring is all about the Rainbows! and the Wonderful Script Sentiments are also new as I used them on the Gerber Daisy cards last week. This Embossing folder is called Optical Arches. Looks like rainbows to me!
