PA Scribe by Paul Antonio

Spellbinders has a few new fun new glimmer plates and stamps from designer Paul Antonio Scribe. Who is this you ask? Paul Antonio Scribe is a studio of calligraphers, hand-lettering artists and graphic designers from London. Check out the collection at Spellbinders here.

For todays card I am using the stamp– the glimmer plate will come in a few days. I thought this “Hi” stamp was very graffiti style. Where do you often see graffiti? on a brick wall!

For the brick wall, use a sponge dauber cut into a rectangle (see picture), and stamp in Tin Pail ink. The card on the left is a white cardstock and the right has a Tin Pail base for the wall. No fancy tools- just ink the dauber and stamp.

I learned the brink wall technique from one of FSJ’s videos. EASY!!! At this time, the fun Ink Splat stamp is on the retiring list! So if you don’t have one get yours now!

Black embossing powder (heated) ensures that the sentiment pops off the wall.

I did add a little bit extra splatter with my Black licorice sparkle silk. Such a fun card to make. And you can make colorful brick walls, not just gray.
