Hey Friends!! I’m back today with TWO glimmer cards. This time Sea Horses! (Spellbinders calls them Show Ponies)

Black Glimmer foil for this sea horse… Oh my wow! it is so beautiful in person. And did you notice that I foiled on colored cardstock again? FUN!
For the background, Distress oxides make the ocean. I blended Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron and then splattered it with water. Then I stamped it with the tiny sea creatures from the Set Sail FSJ stamp set (currently on clearance) in Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink. Below is a picture before stamping.
Look close at at the sea horse in my first picture. I added just a little bit of shading to his cheek and his back fin (hard to see in my photo) with the fun new Mineral Eyes Palette pastel set. Its like eyeshadow for your cards. These can be easily blended to create stunning effects on your cards or mixed media projects. I also used it on the embossed layer on the card below. Application is easy… I used a sponge dauber and the metallic blue shade.

Velvet Pastels create the multicolor sea horse on the card. Smear a few colors on whip cream (or white) card stock as shown below.

Foil the sea horse in black and then die cut. So easy and a pretty cool effect with rich vibrant color.
