Mr Twigster Christmas

A chain of events to get this card….I cased this criss cross card,  which I saw on Patty Bennett’s blog who saw this on Marie’s blog.  I am sure they will be popping up all over the place!  Patty is right,  I was able to make a dozen of these in under 1 hour- You NEED the pennant die and a good stash of paper that coordinates.

I cut the paper 5.5 x 5.5 and ran it through the Bigshot lined up with the small pennant.  I trimmed it slightly after cutting it with the big shot.  This way I got a Pennant and a scallop circle with each piece cut.  I glued the folded perfs to the single 1/4 sheet of real red card stock (4.25×5.5).  Those little folds created the pocket.  Mr. Twigster is adhered to a 1.5 inch circle punch (sorry, non SU) and then adhere to the scallop.  I used the other scallop folded to create the pull for the inside piece.  I used the water brush and a little baja blue ink from the lid of the pad to make sky behind Mr. Twigsters head.

Recipe:

Stamps:  Mr. Twigster, Heard from the heart

Paper: Ski slope DSP, real red, baja blue, white

Ink: real red, black, baja blue

Accessories:  SU pennant die for the big shot, 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 inch circle punches, slot punch and real red ribbon, water brush, markers for coloring
