One of a Kind with Wasabi

I had leftover pieces of this striped paper from my last stamp a stack. Before they get lost in the scrap bin, I thought I would try to use them up. I love how striking the black layers make this card.

Stamps: One of A Kind
Ink: black
Paper: Wild wasabi, whisper white, so saffron and Black, non SU designer paper
accessories: stitched ribbon, jumbo silver brad, markers

Back to Stamping! One of a Kind

Back to stamping the background that is. I did not realize how much I reach for designer paper. which is pretty much always now, what did we ever do with out it? We stamped backgrounds!

This is Blue bayou, real red and soft sky made with the One of a Kind set. I used the 1/2 inch circle punch to make the scallops around the circle I cut with the coluzzle. I added dots with the gel pen. I love this striped ribbon!!

I cased this card from one on Splitcoast- but I can’t locate the original link. I’ll try to add it later. If the original artist is reading my blog THANKS for the inspiration.

You are One of a Kind

Just a quick post tonight. Lots of germs this week in our home– which really cuts into stamping time! Everyone is on the mend and getting better. thanks goodness I am having serious stamp withdrawl!!!

This card is made with the One of Kind stamp set. Bashful blue, sahara sand and black cardstock and ink to match. The ribbon is non-Stampin’ Up! but the colors are a perfect match. Hope you like it!
