Be back tomorrow with some fun items to share! Sleep was not a priority…so I’m going to bed EARLY!!!!
One of my club members (Hi Perrie) asked me to design some Christmas cards for her. She sent me a page of stamped images that she loves and these are what I came up with.
So How did I do? It was a fun little challenge and best of all she loved them and she has already added a few of the items used in the cards to her last club order! (I am sneaky, LOL). These designs lend themselves to a variety of stamped images. Check out your stamps- Do any of your holiday images fit these layouts?? & The glitter is there-look close!

I made this to highlight the Big Shot (I used the Top Note XL die) and for the Creative challenge on Shelli’s blog. Each month Shelli, the CEO and co-founder of Stampin’ Up! has a creative challenge. Here is my submission for her “Celebrate” challenge.
It was a fun morning at the bus stop this past Monday. The smiles were big for both the kids and the parents. LOL

This card was one that the ladies made at a workshop before I left for convention. I forgot that I did not post it. Its really beautiful in person and luckily it fits the challenge submitted by Nicole. Flowers and 6×3 in Size.
Thanks Nicole!
I stamped a 2nd set of flowers, cut them out, curled the edges slightly and then added dazzling diamonds for some bling.
Stay tuned for a few more challenges. I have already made 2 new projects from the comments left. Very Fun! and like other challenges out there they make you think outside the box. Some of the stamps mentioned I do not own, but I will improvise so you can easily transfer it to the set you do have. Thanks ….its nice to dust off a few sets!
All Supplies are Stampin’ Up!

I am looking for a challenge. Knowing we are just days away for a new catalog and new accessories, which by the way are fabulous, I thought I should dust off a few sets I already own to revive them and pay attention to them.
Post a comment here and tell me what stamp set you want me to “dust off” and make a card with. I may not have all of them, but I have a nice collection of stamps. *wink*
Thanks in advance for Challenging me!
Each of my Stampers 10 club members got this Challenge in their June Packages
I put a whole bunch of goodies in this “Peek-a-Boo” box. Everyone’s box of goodies contained the same items and their ultimate goal is to use as many of the items as they can in some projects. I am awarding 3 prizes to club members based on whoever uses the most items from their box, whoever uses the most other Stampin’ Up! items on their project(s) and the most creative project (this will be voted on by all club members).
Their projects do not need to be exclusively Stampin Up! but clearly a prize is in order if they do!
I plan to give them 4-6 weeks to submit their creations! I can’t wait to see what they come up with! Playing in the challenge is totally optional, the goodie box is my Thank you for their business!

These were for the Sage shadow, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip color challenge ( CC168) on Splitcoaststampers last week. I made them and forgot to take the picture and post. I also did the Try a new technique challenge, which was a box with a 3×3 card and envelopes. Those I hope to post this week. All Supplies are Stampin’ Up! unless noted.
and an alternate version….I left the sentiment off this one so I could use it for any occasion. Maybe a Sympathy card seems to fit the bill.

I was saving these big flower rub-ons from the Eastern Elegance set for just the right card. I wasn’t really sure what to do with them until I saw this card by Nancy Riley, who cased it from Jacki Pedro. Not only did I find a great way to use these I also found a good reason to use my pearls from the Pretties kit. this color combo follows the color challenge from Splitcoast 2 weeks ago using Pomegranate, soft sky and black. I really like how these turned out and they look way better in real life! Thanks Nancy & Jackie for the great idea!
Recipe:
Stamps: Short and sweet
Ink: black
paper: soft sky, pomegranate, black
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Pretties Kit, Eastern Elegance Rub-ons, various punches and ribbon.
I made this card when “Scrapnextras” on Splitcoast was the featured stamper. Never got to post- since the germs have invaded my home and all 5 of us have been sick for 2 weeks. First the kids then me and my husband! YUK!
And then this morning– no web, no email, limited web access now-Internet outage through Comcast! Its killing me! I love my computer!
For the card I changed the base card color and the layers. The rest I kept basically the same. I will link to the original card soon, I can’t access Splitcoast–arrggghhh!
Edited to add: Here is the original card- can you believe I had the same paper? CLICK HERE
