Hello stamping friends! Spellbinders has released their gorgeous Serenade of Autumn Collection and it’s so beautiful! It has lots of fall leaves and sunflowers. And I’m currently obsessed with all things Sunflower this fall season. Today I am sharing the Sunflower Border Press Plate and the Autumn Serenade 3D Embossing Folder. First up is the plate. I love the monochromatic look of this card.

I used the BetterPress Saffron ink (from the Nature Tone Ink set) on the plate. It took me 3 tries to get this card right. First time I did not clean the plate well enough and the black ink I used first bled into the yellow a little. Second try I had way too much ink on the plate and when I pressed it and it was bleeding a little into the soft cotton card stock. and this is the 3rd try. Totally worth the mess-ups -its only paper right?
Here’s the card I made with the black ink, the Sunflower Border Press Plate and my inspiration photo from Pinterest.

I colored this card with copics. The soft cardstock does suck up the ink so go lighter than you want to when you color. Bummed that my purple flowers look a little blue in the picture.

Finally I have a super clean and simple card with the New Autumn Serenade 3D Embossing Folder.

I used the Sunflowers from the Build-A-Wreath Etched Dies . There are sooooo many cute sunflowers in the serenade of fall collection. Be sure to check them all out!
