Sticky Page Glitter Ornament Tutorial

Thanks so much for all of the nice comments on the glitter ornament card. Here is how you make it:

1st the completed card- its a little different from the 1st one:

Lets begin:

You will need sticky pages (item #114300, page 158) & your ornament punch

Punch an ornament (or a few)

Peel off the white backing and adhere the sticky to a piece of whisper white. I added gold cord just underneath the top of the ornament. I will tuck the loose end in at the final step of the card.

Make cuts in the red overlay as shown with the lines. be careful not to cut all the way through your paper.

Peel off one section of the red overlay

sprinkle with color glitter.

Peel off the next section and sprinkle with glitter. continue with the rest of the ornament in this same fashion.

Punch 2 holes in the top of your ornament so you can tie gold cord in a bow

Tie bow

Complete your card

All supplies are Stampin Up!

Stamps: Sparkly & Bright

Paper: whisper white, real red, pacific point (retired)

Ink: real red

accessories: sticky pages, ornament punch, various colored glitter : Fine galaxy, fine supernova

Have FUN!!!

Did you find that your punch got sticky? Just wondering. I tried this once with a different punch and now my punch is sticky – any suggestions? Thanks.Heather

I absolutely love this one, but I too tried it and it ruined my punch. Can not fully get the glue out of my punch. Any suggestions on how I can do this card with the punch?
