This year we decided it was Chocolate! Hershey’s Chocolate!!
THIS POST HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH A VIDEO TUTORIAL. You can see it HERE
For my oldest, he took 14 of these to the 7th grade teachers today. love that!!
(directions on how to make this box will be at the end of the post)
A fond farewell to the Celebrations dsp and Tart and Tangy! these boxes hold TWO Hershey bars from the grocery store multi packs (usually where the smores stuff is)
Here is an extra one I made for my stamp room. Another farewell to Matchbox Messages
I made a Bunch with the retired Summer picnic paper. Those apples are so perfect for Teachers!
OK, here is how you make the box:
Card stock: 8.5 x 7.5
with your 7.5 side at the TOP of your scoring tool, score at 2, 2.5, 5 and 5.5
turn and score at 6, 6.5
for the diagonal- I measured down 2 inches and hand cut it on the diagonal to the score line.
You will need to cut some of the bottom scored sections away to make the box.
(I will try to add a picture today)
Jill, what super cute gifts for your kids' teachers. I hope that I will be getting some cute items like these. 🙂 Can you e-mail me a pattern or directions of how to make the boxes? Thanks!
